I enjoyed working with this client and we were successful in settling him in his new home. In northern Virginia around the Washington DC area, the housing market is very competitive. This client and I had already missed out on 2 different houses, and to improve the chances that he would get this house, I recommended he bid over its asking price, a common and important strategy to make his offer more attractive. We were successful and the house was his. The sellers negotiated to stay in the house one month after the closing. This request was made before the closing and was fully agreed to and signed off on by my client. I am happy to have been instrumental in helping my client find and buy what he termed "his dream home" for him.
