Tara was born in Toledo, Ohio and was raised in Seal Beach, California.  She graduated from California State University, Fullerton, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  She has moved multiple times in the last 6 years, along with her 3 children, following her husband's Marine Corps aviation career.  She is now happy to call Corpus Christi her home.
