My Folks and I discovered this beautiful valley in the early 1960's thanks to a neighbor of ours in the Los Angeles Area. We bought a piece of land, put a trailer on it, and visited every summer vacation in our Jr. High to High School days. Over the years my parents added on to the trailer, and built a home. When I graduated HighSchool we made this our permanent homeland.
