I have earned my Master Gardener Designation which keeps me active in many volunteer activities including the southern NM State Fair. I have discovered pottery and may have finally found something artistic I have a knack for. I am a refugee from Katrina after spending 28 yrs in New Orleans and now 'I run out and kiss the side walk every morning' since coming to Las Cruces. I have also discovered the joy of walking a dog in the desert in winter.
