Hello and thank you for visiting! I was born in Richmond, California. My father emigrated from Portugal in 1927. He and my mother, Mary, opened a grocery store in Richmond in 1946 and later expanded to San Pablo and El Sobrante.
Following in my families` footsteps, I owned and operated retail food and spirits stores (People`s Market & Liquors, Inc.) in San Pablo and Rodeo for 34 years.
