Hey Elijah! The applicants who were ultimately offered the rental were the most financially qualified. The order that applications are received is only taken into consideration when multiple candidates have similar financials. In this instance, you and your roommates were unfortunately not in the running. On a personal note, I understand the levels of discrimination that members of the queer community face on a daily basis and why you would reach this conclusion given the information you had. I don't discriminate against anyone in either my personal or professional life. I hope I was able to add clarity to the rental process, let me know if I can help you find a different space.
