We went to look at an apartment and were waiting 20 minutes with another couple who was also there for the showing. I called her and she said the apartment had been moved the night before. I sincerely apologize you didn't receive my email notifying you that the apartment was gone.Unfortunately,many inquiries&responses end up in agents'&consumers' spam mail. In this case,I represented the owner. Here are 2 ways I feel you can improve your chances of success in the future:1) Don't wait--if you see a property you think you want, go see it immediately. Now that Amazon is coming to town (along with the many companies who will follow), if you want something, go get it. Prices are going to continue to rise&inventory is going to fly off the shelves. I imagine in 3 years, the DC metro area will end up like the current San Francisco real estate market. 2) Get an agent to represent you.In this case, even though the property was under contract, a buyer's agent could have shown you the property because agents have access to all properties on MLS.I am sorry for the miscommunication&sorry that you were disappointed. I wish you the best of luck in finding another property.
