- Will I work with more than one agent?
You'll be paired with just one partner agent to support throughout the buying process.
- Is my information secure?
Yes, it will not be shared or used for marketing purposes.
- Are there any fees or obligations?
The buyer does not pay Zillow for services the agent provides. Discussions about commissions are between the agent and their clients.
Buyers may be connected with an agent who pays Zillow either an advertising fee up front or a referral fee at closing.
There is no obligation between the Buyer and Zillow to work with an agent. If you're not happy with the first agent you connect with, we can reconnect you with another agent partner. Just like commissions, exclusivity is negotiable between Buyer and the agent partner.

- If I speak to a Zillow Premier Agent partner, does my contact information get sent to other Brokerages?
Zillow will not share your information with another brokerage. If, however, you find that the agent is not a good fit and ask to be paired with a new partner agent, we will do so.

Your Zillow Premier Agent partner can contact the listing agent on your behalf to ask any questions about a property you’re interested in.
- Do I need an agent to buy a house?
You don’t need an agent, but 88% of buyers use one. Agents provide end-to-end support throughout the buying process as well as negotiation expertise and representation in the purchase of a home.
- Who pays the commission when buying a house?
When you work with a buyer’s agent, you’ll typically sign a buyer agreement that outlines how much your agent will be paid, how they’ll be paid, and what services you can expect in return.
