I'm a community activist, interested in the quality of neighborhoods. I petitioned in 1994 to have the park by my residence in Cicero, revamped to provide a safe environment for children to play in. It was accepted at a park district meeting and closed the next day for remodeling.
My petition to lower the speed limit to 20 mph was granted also.
I have adopted my block, and provide clean up when ever the need arises.
