We’ve got data for you!

The visual below show shares aggregated page views at the ZIP code level from July through November, 2014. For-sale and not-for-sale page views are included, rental page views are not. Keep in mind that the number of page views in a given ZIP code is driven not just by its popularity, but also by the size of the ZIP code and the number of listings in that zip code. People look at homes on Zillow a lot more if they’re listed for sale, meaning that hot areas with no listings may have fewer page views than an area with a lot more homes for sale.

Take a few minutes and have some fun playing with data. We think you’ll enjoy it.

The first interactive visual shows the share of page views throughout the country originating in a designated marketing area (DMA). The second visual shows where page views in a metro ares are coming from throughout the country.
