Depending upon the valuables you want to move, if the insurance provided by your truck rental company is low you may consider getting a supplemental liability coverage plan.
Can my cats or dogs travel in truck rentals?: You will have to check with the guideline of the moving company. In general, it’s always recommended for the pets to travel with you in the front. You should always arrange for a crate or harness. Never keep the pet in the back of the truck, which can lead to an injury to the pet.
How can I travel with a child in truck rentals?: You will have to check with the guideline of the moving company. Most truck rentals only allow children over 13 years of age and 65 pounds in weight.
Would I need a separate or special license to drive a rental truck?: You will have to check with the rental company whether their rental trucks are categorized as commercial vehicles, but in most cases, you wouldn’t need a separate license to drive a rental truck.
