    Just the name - GULF COVE - beckons one to visit. Gulf Cove is a growing community with new and newer homes. Yet, there still remains the peace, serenity and privacy so many want. This piece of land is a "standard lot" on which most builders should be able to build your new home without having to make major modifications to a layout/design. Gulf Cove is very convenient to both the beautiful pristine sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and the hustle and bustle of Port Charlotte with its big box stores. The Gulf Cove Property Owners Association is a voluntary organization. Members pay a nominal annual fee and have the exclusive use of the park and Myakka River boat ramp - a decal is needed for use of this facility - again the boat ramp is available only to members who buy the annual decal. Need to get away - Interstate 75 is an easy ride away, and there are three airports within an hour from here - including Punta Gorda's Bailey Terminal where Allegiant flies to and from daily to locations throughout the country at discounted fares. For more distant travels, Fort Myers (about 40 miles south), Sarasota (about 20 miles north) and Tampa International (about 45 minutes north) all offer flights to jet you to nearly any country you wish to visit. But with the options available to you locally, there should be very little reason to leave. Very nearby this land is the thriving community of Englewood with a multitude of the stores you need and want - Publix, Home Depot - to name a couple - plus Englewood is known for its robust restaurant community. You should never go hungry here. Across the street from this land are some lovely newer homes - just waiting for a new neighbor.
