The best part, however, is the location - just three houses from the water in a quiet, safe neighborhood on a dead-end road. Our beach is private and for the residents of our community, but since it is rarely occupied, you will likely have your own private beach experience! The CT shoreline is full of beach alternatives, should you want variety; Hammonasset Park is a short stroll away. There is even a hiking/biking trail at the end of our street that leads to the Park if you are looking for more vigorous activity. Other activities favorite to the region include hiking, biking, kayaking, paddling, fishing, bird watching. The house has three kayaks available for use. The house has four bedrooms and an open loft perfect for an office or extra bedroom. The master is a huge room with water views. On the same level is two bedrooms. The basement level has a fourth bedroom with a large living or game room. The kitchen is modern and comfortable for a group to gather and offers a breakfast bar for additional space. It has stainless appliances. In the living room, you will find space to relax. On cooler evenings, there is even a gas fireplace for your comfort. This is my favorite room to put my feet up and relax with the Sunday paper over coffee or to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Lastly, on the main floor is a great room with lots of light and French doors leading to the large deck. The house is also equipped with a full-size washer and dryer.
