Our home is located one half mile on a private dirt road. There is lots of privacy although we do have seasonal neighbors. It has an attached 2 car garage and another 2 car garage/ workshop across the road. The workshop is located upstairs in this garage. In the full walk out basement in the main house is a recreation room, laundry room, dog bathing area, two work benches, and storage area. We have a small fish pond located beside the house. The larger pond, located in front of the house, is 220 acres. There are summer camps located around the pond and in the summer people boat, fish and swim. We have a deck which is used frequently during the year. Under the deck is a open storage area for firewood, canoes or other recreational items. A smaller closed in 3 season room is located to one side of the deck and off the living room. Snowmobile trails are easily accessible, which can also be used for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Ripley, is also located about 50 miles from Moosehead Lake in Greenville which boasts of skiing, boating, snowmobiling etc.
