Brian Cartwright was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. He received his undergraduate degree and Master's Degree in Education Administration from the University of Maine at Orono. Married with three children, Brian is a St. John's Church Parish member and is on the Board of Directors of the Old Town/Orono Community That Cares program. He is also co-chair of the Veazie Community School PTO and is a volunteer coach in Bangor, Veazie and Orono.
