not sure what tenant this is but we are ...property managers... we can't do any repairs to any property we manage until the actual owner approves the repairs. unfortunately some landlords do not keep their homes in top condition. it is difficult for tenants to understand that the owner makes the decision what and when they are going to repair and we are stuck in the middle. if i send out workers to do repairs and the owner didnt authorize that repair/expense then i have to pay it out of my pocket. i apologize to this tenant . the moment we receive a tenant repair request we immediately take action. we do get estimates and relay the information to the owners for approval. if owner doesnt authorize the repair i cant resolve the issue. i could see how this tenant wants to put the blame on us instead of the owner.
