A native Texan, Ronda was first introduced to PK Lake in the early 80's when she would bring her family camping at the State Park on the lake's southwest side. A career in banking brought her to PK full-time when she worked as a loan officer for First State Bank of Possum Kingdom (now Community National Bank).
