I was constantly rearranging furniture, going to Home Depot to look around, touring new construction job sites and scouring real estate and home magazines. At 18 I jumped at the chance to work in a paint store where I consulted on products and design. That led to working with a design team at a furniture store, adding to my skills of staging and whole house design.
