Sorrel, Rick is the listing agent on the property you, an interested buyer represented by a buyer’s broker, made the offer on. Rick represents the seller. His duty is to get the seller the best terms for the sale of the property. In a multiple offer situation, it is common practice to let all interested buyers know and ask for their “highest and best”. Rick communicated this with your buyer’s broker along with the deadline for offer submission and seller’s deadline for offer response. We verified the communications between Rick and your buyer’s broker to ensure she knew these deadlines. We also work with buyers and understand your frustration when your offer is not the one accepted.
