Bought a Single Family home in 2025 in San tan valley, AZ.Local knowledgeProcess expertiseResponsivenessNegotiation skillsReview of Realtor Lacey Lehman I purchased a home where Lacey represented the seller. Prior to closing, my realtor raised concerns about bathroom leaks. Lacey responded by sending her handyman (and possibly visiting herself), reporting that one bath...Response from Lacey and Drew Lehman on 9/16/2025
Sherry, I want to clarify a few important points for accuracy. As the listing agent, my role was to represent the seller, not the buyer, and I never once had a conversation or direct interaction with you during the transaction. All communications and negotiations were handled between your agent and myself, as is standard. The only item that was ever discussed during escrow was the upstairs hall bathroom toilet. My seller promptly had it inspected by a professional the same day your licensed inspector conducted the home inspection. Videos documenting the hall bathroom toilet inspection were provided to your agent, and no active leaks were observed. At no point was there any mention or discussion from your agent regarding the master bathroom toilet or the bathtub leak you are now referencing, nor did your inspector identify any issues with these items in the original inspection. We encourage you to re-review your home inspection report for clarification, and if you feel something was missed, it may be in your interest to discuss it with your home inspector. You stated, “When my realtor followed up with Lacey, she claimed we should have mentioned it earlier—despite the fact that we had addressed these concerns before closing…” I want to assure you that none of these issues were ever raised or addressed by your agent. Had they been, they would have been handled promptly, just as any other requests were throughout the escrow. I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter unexpected issues after closing. However, I respectfully disagree with your characterization that there was any concealment or dishonesty. My client completed a thorough Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement, and I have fulfilled my ethical responsibilities by presenting the property to the best of my knowledge, acting honestly and fairly to all parties, and facilitating communication throughout the transaction, just as I do in every transaction I participate in. I wish you all the best moving forward in your home.
