The negative review here was posted by a woman named Laritza Hamby, who owned a townhouse in Fountain, CO. Working with Mrs. Hamby was not an enjoyable experience for us, either. While we understand her frustrations, Mrs. Hamby's "facts" are not entirely accurate. I won't go into details (because frankly it isn't anyone else's business), but we served Mrs. Hamby relatively well in the 2+ years we managed her property - contrary to the assertions she has made here, and elsewhere on the internet. The vast majority of our clients and customers are more than satisfied with our services. In fact, we do not advertise our business or do any extra self-promotion - ALL of our growth over the last 5 years (inventory currently at approximately 160 residential rental properties) has resulted from "word-of-mouth" client referrals. We've had several hundred very satisfied homeowners and tenants alike - unfortunately, people aren't as inclined to "go out of their way" to say positive things, as they are when they feel they've been wronged in some way. As property managers, we cannot foresee or predict unexpected catastrophic events, such as the water damage that occurred in Mrs. Hamby's property; all we can do is react, and make our best efforts to ensure the work is done correctly. Mrs. Hamby's "bad taste" is ultimately the result of a very unfortunate chain of events, triggered by a significant leak at the water line which supplies the refrigerator that resulted in several hundred square feet of hardwood flooring having to be replaced. After firing us, Mrs. Hamby hired another agent to sell her townhome as a short-sale, which is further evidence that her frustrations were more the result of her own personal financial distress, rather than perceived action/inaction on our part. Mrs. Hamby is not the first client/customer that has placed blame on and/or lashed out at us do to personal financial stress, and she won't be the last. It's an unfortunate by-product of this industry in which we partake. Thank you for reading.
