Zillow Home Value Forecast for December 2013

The housing market ended 2012 on a good note – home values are up 5.9 percent for the year and are forecasted to appreciate by 3.3 percent in 2013. However the housing recovery has not been felt evenly across the nation. A more in depth analysis on current trends in the housing market can be found here. While most metropolitan areas are forecasted to experience some degree of home value appreciation, some are still forecasted to have declines in home values.
