For Chris Reed of Keller Williams, a talent for real estate came naturally. He grew up watching his mother be successful in the business, and when he finished school, he went to work for a large, regional homebuilder in Columbus, Ohio.

Chris Reed was initially licensed in 1989, and re-licensed in 2007 when he entered the market for good. "I've been hitting it hard since then," he says. His numbers are huge and his customer satisfaction ratings are even higher than his sales figures. "People love the way he interacts with them, he truly does care about their best fiduciary interests, and he manages his client expectations well."

He says authentic, caring customer service is the key to success in this business. "When I first meet people, I tell them my goal is to make sure they are so absolutely thrilled with my service that they want to refer me to their family and friends," he says. "I take time to listen, and I connect with them on an emotional level." Reed also believes in aggressive marketing. He uses every available outlet to tell people about his services, including local radio. "I funnel money back into the business, because I learned a long time ago that it takes money to make money," he says. "I am constantly looking for new ways to promote my business."

While some agents prefer to specialize in specific segments within a large metropolitan market, Reed tries not to shut out any buyer or seller. "I go out of my way to not make myself a specialist in any one area," he says. He holds listings in multiple counties, working on everything from short sales to luxury homes, and commercial products as well.. "We are full service, and whatever you need, we'll take care of you."

      Chris Reed is a very unique person. Not only is he extermely knowledgeable about all areas but he is reachable 24/7 practically! No one could believe it when I told them I could call my realtor at midnight panicking or early in the morning! Chris is VERY supportive emotionally and very efficient and honest! Love it!       Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $200K in West Albany, Westerville, OH.
      I hired Mr. Reed based on his reviews online. While my house did sell quickly it was not due to the efforts of Mr. Reed as he priced my house over 10k less than a home that just sold. He didn't even do comps on homes sold in my area he just told me to follow his gut feeling. He also cost me several hundred dollars by not negotiating the appliances in my home as an additional purchase. He failed to catch that this was added into the buyers terms but yet Chris failed to catch and lost me that money. So between the fact that Mr. Reed lost me money, failed to return calls back in a timely manner, gave constant excuses as to why he failed to do the right thing when he priced my home it pains me to think that anybody would listen to online reviews about a realtor. Mr. Reed does a great job talking himself up but that is the only talking he managed to do right during my experience as the buyers agent worked over Mr. Reed which cost me and my family a lot of money and heartache. That will be the last time I trust online reviews without talking directly to former clients of somebody I am looking to hire.  MoreLess

      Thank you for posting, your review affords an opportunity to publicly display how I deal with challenging situations. Experienced agents work through highly emotional exchanges on a very regular basis. For most, it is the single largest financial investment they make, and is a highly emotional, infrequent life event. Your home was listed, a purchase offer procured, home inspection completed, and a closing took place 29 days after you first contacted me. You were cashed out LITERALLY under 30 days when the average time is more than 100 days. When I first spoke with you I indicated market conditions had changed dramatically and because of low supply and high demand, I felt the comparable numbers were too low. The services I rendered were representative of my best efforts. I recall my Dad telling me growing up that I could "please some of the people, some of the time, but never all the people, all the time" clearly he was absolutely right.
