Sandy's knowledge of not only the market but the types of home that would suit what your looking for is unbelievable. That coupled with the fact that she stays with you through out the entire process offering great advice. She is an agent that even way after the closing you can still call her and she continues to work on your behalf way after her job is done.  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Somerset, NJ.

When it came to buying our first home, it was a rollercoaster ride from house hunting start to closing time. The experience was a mix of emotions from excitement to being completely stressful and emotionally invested in our “could be” dream house. However, one thing that remained reassuring and stable during this process was having the right realtor. When my husband and I were going through the home buying process for the first time we were truly blessed when we were referred to our realtor, Sandra (Sandy) Chambers. Unlike the typical realtor/ buyer relationships we’ve heard of where the realtor plays a role in the first part of the home buying process (which is finding the perfect home) and then the loan officer (or bank) and the attorneys take over, Sandy was far from conventional. She went above and beyond the call of her duty and was there working for us through the entire journey. Given Sandy’s outstanding performance as realtor of the month consecutively at ERA, her real estate broker, it came to us as no surprise that she was a workaholic. During the underwriting and attorney review process, Sandy was a constant in our lives through this part of the process making sure all our “I’s” were dotted and “T’s” were crossed to ensure that all our requirements with our Mortgage Company and lawyer were expedited, ready in advance and met on time. She wanted to make sure that there were no delays on our part so that we could close on the scheduled date. She really made sure we were on track with everything. In addition, not only was Sandy our realtor, but she served as our advisor at times as well. Given our “must haves” in the type of house we wanted and our living arrangement with my mother-in-law staying with us to watch our 2 daughters, Sandy had our best interest in mind. She could have easily made a profit on one of the earlier homes we were considering putting an offer in, but recommended we reconsider and find something that offered a more comfortable living environment for all. Occasionally, she was there as our confident and on speed dial whenever we were in stress and needed advice or someone to talk to when new situations arose during this process. She was also very knowledgeable on the construction and care of a house. She taught us a lot about copper wiring, PVC piping, French drains, oil tanks, water heater, aluminum siding, furnaces, and basements. Through her knowledge of construction she was able to see signs of a past underground tank. She requested the seller perform a tank sweep and to all (but Sandy’s) surprise an underground tank was found. She is absolutely an amazing realtor, truly heaven sent. The extent of her knowledge with real estate was very comprehensive. Her empathetic nature is unmatched. And even though she is clearly a busy woman, she made my family feel as though we were her only clients. And when we found our dream home, she forfeited apportion of her commission to ensure we got it! Overall through this stressful experience, we had an outstanding realtor who played an important role in this process. She was true a team player committed to finding and delivering us our dream home. It is truly without reservation that we recommend Sandy Chambers. Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in Plainfield, NJ.

Sandy is awesome! We've purchased two properties with Sandy. As a first time home buyer she was on top of everything. Negotiations is definitely her specialty at getting the right price for her clients. On our first property we were willing to settle for $270,000, however Sandy knew we could do better and that's exactly what she did. We paid in the end $235,000 with $6,000 back in closing cost. She was with us every step of the way. Didn't matter what time of the day it is she always makes herself available for you. Her expertise is not just in the buying and selling process, but truthfully she a master in knowing all the in and outs of houses. In Sandy you would not just be getting a realtor, you'd be getting a person that cares about the people she services for Sandy her pride is not the dollar she makes from the job, but knowing that she's fulfilled someone dream of home ownership.
