I was born in California but have lived most of my life in the Seattle area, minus the four years I spent at WSU (Go Cougs!) and the six months I spent living in France.Recently my husband and I purchased our first home --a1907 craftsman in the Delridge neighborhood of West Seattle. In my spare time I enjoy fixing up the house and walking Alki Beach with my lab mix, Maggie.

I joined Zillow in December 2005 -- two months before the site officially launched. Since the company was in stealth mode at the time, taking the job was a bit of a leap of faith, but it turned out to be a good move and I haven't looked back since. Prior to Zillow I worked for a large PR agency, but have also dabbled in politics and event planning. As a PR specialist at Zillow, I work mostly with the media and handle some industry relations and conference planning as well. I also occasionally write for the Zillow Blog.
