I’m responsible for the various data and analytics activities at Zillow.  I love data and creating new knowledge from data through the use of statistics, machine learning and data mining.  Real estate is a fascinating industry with enormous amounts of data flowing through it, much of it currently untapped in terms of what it could be telling consumers, agents, and investors.  One of our chief goals at Zillow is not only exposing more of this raw data to the public, but also finding cool ways to reveal the true insights lurking in all that data.

I’ve lived in Seattle since 2001, before that living in beautiful Charlottesville, VA and Washington DC.  I’m originally from Atlanta, GA.
