    Hi Mahboob. I debated for a long time whether I should respond to your accusations. We remember the transaction very differently. We put together an offer for a new construction spec home. The list price was $464,000 and I was able to negotiate a deal for a purchase price of $445,000 plus Megatel paying for some of your closing costs. Unfortunately our first offer ($400,000) that we submitted was too low for the builder. Normal to received counter offers. You got one heck of a deal! We started viewing homes June 4 and landed on your new home June 25. I gave you a list of my preferred lenders for contacts and you chose to use the builder’s lender. As you mentioned, you were an out of state buyer. I was your eyes, hands, and ears here in Texas. I attended the home inspection, spent hours with you there on site, negotiated repairs, and visited the home multiple times before our closing date of July 21. I sent you photos throughout the process to keep you informed. One repair that was required was that Megatal replace a bathroom vanity because the existing one was cracked. A new one was ordered and prior to closing the new vanity arrived. It was broken. Megatel had to order another one. Our closing day was here and the vanity still hadn’t been delivered. Not only was the vanity a delay your mortgage lender wasn’t ready to close. Fast forward the lender was ready to close Aug 3. I did not make it to closing on Aug 3 due to taking my stepdaughter back to Florida, to her mother’s, after summer break. I reviewed all necessary documents prior to closing while I was one the road. Megatel’s title company had incorrectly charged you for a service and I got it reversed. You knew this upfront. It was never a surprise that I couldn’t physically be at closing. From Aug 3 to Dec 17 we were in regular contact with each other. I helped you with a warranty claim that Megatel was giving you pushback on. I worked diligently with you and Megatel to resolve the issue. I even went as far as driving to the Megatel headquarters to meet with the higher ups when they wouldn’t return my call. My husband even continued to call in hopes to get a hold of someone. He’s not in real estate. I made you aware of all of this. You were updated step by step. I gave you every contact that I was contacting so we could tag team. Megatel made this transaction a nightmare. It was a beating from start to finish. From this transaction, I am always weary of any of my clients purchasing from this builder. It’s unfortunate that after all of our interactions and teamwork throughout the many months you left a horrible review of false information about me and my worth ethic. I take it personally because my clients are very important to me.
