The home in question did indeed sell to an unfortunate cash buyer who has since been forced to comply with the red tag notice from the County of San Bernardino. The Buyer had to demolish more than half of the home because it was not permitted and unsafe to live in. My job as a real estate professional is to make sure I represent my clients properly by watching out for their best interests. This home would have been a challenge for even a seasoned contractor or investor to take on as a project. This Buyer explained she was looking for a home to live in immediately and getting a loan to finance it. I did recommend that she not buy it because of her situation and the complexities of this particular home.
